Golden Earth’s The Himalayan Immersion Retreat, a week long retreat, commenced on 9th Nov 2019. A journey through the untouched Himalayas-The birth place of yoga.The team created an amazing experience exploring yoga,local food,culture and people.
The purpose of The Himalayan Immersion Retreat, was to explore the Garhwal Himalayas from Rishikesh to Chopta with the spirit of immersing into the local culutre,food and living.Exploring the spiritual land and connecting to self through yoga.Going through the journey of mesmersing forests filled with wild flowers,butterflies,peaceful meadows,yoga in the open fields, quietly meditating at the top of a mountain and staying in local homestay and enjoying the organic food available in the region.
Participants of all ages, both young and old traveled with us and completed this trip in Rishikesh on 15th Nov 2019.”The one week immersion his retreat in the beautiful untouched regions above Rishikesh were truly a sight for sore eyes.The practice of yoga and meditation and ease of choosing or dropping some activities was so important to me as I truly wanted to stay connected with the silence of the mountains and the meadows as well as going deeper into my yoga practices.I am truly grateful for this experience, Sonali! “- expressed one of the participants.
